Catholics in the Capitol

Join us in Richmond and advocate for life & justice

The process is simple!

N

Engage in person or virtually!

The Virginia General Assembly is back in person for the 2022 session with the option to engage in testimony virtually.  Keep up with your legislators on virginiageneralassembly.gov starting January 12, 2022.

N

Contact your representatives

Call or email your state senator and delegate and schedule a time to visit their offices. Find legislators’ contact information in the Action Center. In some cases, legislators may ask their legislative assistants to meet with you. The legislative assistant is expected to faithfully communicate your concerns and opinions to the legislator.

N

Plan your trip

While you’re here, check out all Richmond’s Capitol Square has to offer. Experience the history of Mr. Jefferson’s Capitol by taking a guided or self-guided tour.  Attend the 12:05 p.m. daily Mass at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, just across 9th street, or arrange for your delegate or senator to introduce your group in the House or Senate gallery at noon. For more information, contact office @vacatholic.org.
