Wear Green Thursday to School Board meeting!

June 12, 2018 by Jeff Caruso

Should we stand by as the School Board disregards biology and common sense? Let’s show them we’re watching!

Please attend the Fairfax County school board meeting THIS THURSDAY and wear green!

When: Thursday, June 14 at 7pm
Where: Jackson Middle School auditorium, 3020 Gallows Road, Falls Church

The Board will be voting on the following bad changes to the family life curriculum:
  • Using the phrase “sex assigned at birth”  instead of “biological sex” to teach children that biology has no impact on being male or female
  • Teaching students about pre-exposure prophylaxis. Also called PrEP, this drug is designed for use by those who are engaged in sexual behaviors which put them at high risk of contracting HIV
  • Removing “clergy” from a list of trusted adults with whom children should talk about their concerns regarding sex and sexuality
  • No longer teaching that abstinence is the only 100% effective method of preventing sexually transmitted infections or diseases

You can show your support for a scientific, biology-based curriculum by wearing green to the meeting. You are encouraged to arrive early since a large turnout is expected.

The school board needs to know that concerned parents and citizens are aware of what they’re doing.

Please attend this meeting and encourage your neighbors and friends to do the same!
