Staff – Charis Mitchell
Originally from Colorado, Ms. Mitchell began her legal career as a clerk for the Honorable Eric Bruggink in the United States Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C. After her clerkship, Ms. Mitchell moved to Richmond where she served the Commonwealth for over 11 years as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia. Her practice specialized in administrative law as she represented executive branch agencies, advised state licensure boards in the Department of Health Professions, and appeared in numerous courts throughout the Commonwealth, including successfully defending an appeal before the Supreme Court of Virginia.
Ms. Mitchell graduated from Liberty University in 2006 with a B.A. in English. She went on to graduate from Liberty University School of Law in 2009.
