Be prepared for the public comment period on physician-assisted suicide!
The debate on physician-assistant suicide is coming to Virginia. As Catholics, we need to be prepared to meet this new and deadly threat.
The two-sided flier available here, can be a vital resource in this struggle. We will be sending it to parishes throughout Virginia, and we urge you to share it with all who may be interested in taking action.
Virginia legislators have asked for a study about whether physician-assisted suicide should be legal in Virginia. They will soon make a policy recommendation based on that study. A public comment period opens August 22nd and your legislators need to hear from you!
Call to action:
Beginning August 22nd, we will have the opportunity to demonstrate our overwhelming opposition to assisted suicide. Supporters of this unjust and unsafe policy will be vocal. We need to match—and exceed—the comments which they send in. Please be on the lookout for an alert from us on August 22nd .
Let’s stand up for life and send a clear message!
