Virginia Catholic Conference provides key voter registration resource, encourages parishes to conduct drives

One highly effective way for parishes to help voting-age members participate in the political process is by conducting nonpartisan voter registration drives. Parishes are encouraged to organize drives using the Virginia Catholic Conference’s voter registration resource, which includes 10 easy steps for conducting a drive. This year in Virginia, Election Day is Tuesday, November 2. Voters will elect a Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General, and will determine all 100 state House of Delegates seats. The registration deadline for the general election is Tuesday, October 12.
