VoterVoice Post

Make your vote count: act now.

June 29, 2020 by Jeff Caruso

Register to vote today to make your voice heard in November.

On November 3rd, Virginians will have the opportunity to elect candidates for President, U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives – and some “down-ballot” offices. Faithful citizenship reminds us to take an active part in public life through our voice and our vote.
If you will be 18 or older on November 3, we encourage you to register to vote, or update your registration if you have changed your address. Because in-person voting may be more challenging this year due to COVID-19, please keep in mind too that voting by absentee ballot is an option available to you. Please see below for important deadlines for registration and to request an absentee ballot.
To VOTE on Tuesday, November 3, 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (General Election)

Can’t make it on Election Day?
  • Request Absentee Ballot by mail by: 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
  • Request Absentee Ballot by appearing in person by: 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020
We will provide voter education resources in the coming months. In the meantime, please share this information about voter registration and absentee ballots with your family members and friends now, so they will be prepared to participate in these important decisions when the time comes.
